Hey everyone! How are you all? Hope you all are doing fine. And just so you know I am fine too.
If you have read my earlier blogs then thankyou, and with that you also know that iam a movie freak. Not exactly a freak because there is still alot to see. But I'll make sure I do watch all of them in the coming time.
These are some of the most rondon movies that I watched and I liked, and I think you should give them a watch too.
1) Certified Copy : Abbas Kiarostami is an Iranian Filmaker and this movie is his first non-iranian film. This film follows an author and a local store owner roaming around Tuscany, Italy, as the simple dynamics between them begins to get complicated.
2) Masoom : Masoom is one of the most influential movie of all the times for me. I feel emotionally connected to it in a way that it is difficult to describe. Plus it marks a collaboration of some of my favourite artists, from the writing, the director, the music and ofcourse the cast.
3) The Farewell : this deeply personal movie by Lulu Chang is about Chinese that reunites at the family home for a fake wedding when their grandmother becomes sick, so that we can meet for one last time without telling the truth.
4) After Life : this minimal, documentary-style film by Hirokazu Koreeda, recently disease are asked to choose a single cherished movement from their life to be recreated on film for them to take into the next world.
5) The Double Life of Veronique : Krzysztof KieS`lowski's Polish-French movie about two identical looking girls with the same name, is one of the most influential film I have seen by far. It has a strange haunting character which is very rare to find in films is right now.
These suggestions are offcourse totally up to you, whether to give it a watch or not, is totally upto you. Afterall everyone has different choices and I appreciate them. Also the choice of genre matters the most in case you love movies.
