They're a globally popular South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment, a relatively small company at the time. The group debuted in 2013 and consists of seven members: The members were scouted or auditioned over several years, with some like RM (the leader) initially training as underground rappers, while others like Jungkook, Jimin, and V were scouted through auditions. Their backgrounds were diverse, with some having experience in dance, singing, rapping. Their songs are meaningful lyrics that often touch on social issues, self-love, and mental health. They've gained a massive fanbase worldwide, known as ARMY, and have broken numerous records in  music industry.

Training & Formation:
BTS was initially conceived as a hip-hop group with a focus on socially conscious lyrics and youth issues. This was reflected in their early music, which often dealt with the struggles and pressures faced by young people.

Their debut single, “No More Dream,” was part of their first album, 2 Cool 4 Skool , marking the start of their journey in the K-pop industry.. The song’s lyrics address the pressures faced by students in South Korea to succeed academically, challenging the societal expectations imposed on young people.

BTS’s debut performances showcased their powerful choreography and stage presence, though they did not receive much attention initially. However, they started gaining a small but dedicated fanbase due to their relatable lyrics and energetic performances.

  Challenges and Growth:

Struggles: Despite a solid concept and talented members, BTS faced numerous challenges early on, including limited media exposure and resources. They were often overshadowed by groups from larger entertainment companies.

Building Momentum: The group slowly built momentum through persistent promotions, performances, and by connecting with fans on social media. They were one of the first K-pop groups to actively engage with fans on platforms like Twitter and YouTube, which helped them grow their following globally.

 The Beginning of a Movement:
Social Media Impact:  Their engagement on social media platforms set them apart from other groups and allowed them to develop a strong bond with their fans, who later became known as ARMY.

After their debut, BTS continued to release music that tackled important social issues, solidifying their identity as artists who spoke for their generation.

2013 was just the beginning for BTS. Despite facing early obstacles, their dedication and connection with their fans eventually led to their rise as one of the most influential musical acts in the world.
