Hey all, 

So, yes as the title suggests I believe in this theory only that whatever advice comes your way; from whatever source may it come, acknowledge it but don’t directly accept and apply every other advice or suggestion given to you. As you must already know that not every piece of advice is applicable in real life. It might be right but not necessarily it may help you in reality. Some things can be right theoretically but not mostly right in practice. And that’s also the reason why one should always prefer believing in themselves and trusting themselves more than anyone around. 

Also, this doesn’t mean that one should stop listening to others opinions and points of view. It may sometimes come out helpful and may practically help you too. You must listen and observe things around you. Listening is an important skill today. Listen to what others have to say and at the end, the last call must be yours. 

Now, most of you may not agree with me on this point as listening to others perspectives will affect your ultimate decision in some or the other way and I agree as it is a fact that can’t be changed. We humans do tend to get affected by things said to us or observed by us and it’s not necessary that every time we notice that change that happened to us because of the same but getting affected is not in our hands. In some scenarios, it might be because at times we tend to overthink something and that will surely affect our decision and this is the time when we don’t need to overthink any point. All I’m saying is do accommodate every piece of advice provided to you but don’t let it linger in your mind for too long, otherwise, it might affect your decision in a greater way than it should be. 

Choose and decide your thoughts carefully. It is really important to select your thoughts wisely; otherwise, you know what they can do. I understand that at some times it is impossible to act rational but remember that these times are a test for you. Rational decisions can save your life and irresponsible ones can damage you. And always have a plan B; plan C, plan D..... Have a backup of a backup plan.
