She was a born princess Because she always felt that her dad was the king and her mom was queen. She was raised as their only daughter that makes her always alone. She tried to find happiness wherever she could but she failed, That's when she realized that she never wanted a fairy tale nor she never wanted to be a princess. She wanted to be an adventurous young lady and always wanted to be an inspiration rather than being normal. She tried explaining the same to her king and queen but no one cared. Their only thought was “Why would anyone leave a castle to be in the woods?”. They only cared about what's good for her instead of caring about what she wants. No one knows that the so-called “Golden Castle” is a prison world which she wants to escape. The price to break the doors is her parent's pride.
A huge dilemma has risen in her mind, Is it her wings or her parent's pride. Is it what she wants or what her parents want. Her parents would always say that they only want her happiness but never asked her what makes her happy. She never let them down until today nor she won't do it any other day. But if it costs her freedom Why not?
She couldn't decide, She tried to cut herself, she couldn't kill herself, She was worried that her parents might feel bad about her death. Here we go again! She can't live the life she wants, She can't die as she wants. she couldn't be happy even in her dreams as she never slept. she is trying to climb hard to escape the darkness but it's just getting deeper. she tried to pick herself up but she is not strong enough to fight the pride demons.
This is what a typical Indian girl goes through every single day, I hope future generations would never face these ugly situations. Let's not make everything about ourselves. Let's not control other's lives. The greatest achievement for an Indian girl is to be herself. Never judge someone without knowing what they are going through. Life is meant to be lived even if it's just a girl's life. You can never blame the girl or her parents except for society as living up to their standards has become our daily routine. I hope this reading makes you think for a minute.
