Everyone has their own fears. Some people are feared of height, some people are scared of water, ghosts, and some people are even scared of dogs. There are no shortcuts to overcome your fear.
The only way to overcome is that you face it.
When we fear about something, the next time we never even look back at it. It is where we go wrong. Instead, we have to try the same thing again and again until we are cocksure that “This thing is not in my books of fear anymore”.
This may sound a little bit difficult. For sure the change doesn’t come overnight. You have to take small steps and its okay, one day you will overcome it. You know what, “stage fear” is one of my greatest fear. It all started when I was in my fourth grade where I was asked to give a speech on a topic “self-motivation”. I actually prepared well but when I went and stood in front of all the students in my class, my legs started to tremble and I stuck and stood blank. Other students broke the decorum of class while some of them made fun of me. I just could not stand in the place anymore, so I went and sat back in my place. The next day I dint go to school because of fearing that I might again be asked to deliver a speech. This I how I run from my fear each and every time.
It was on my 11th grade, I thought “How long am I going to run from this problem”. So, I decided to stop running and decided to face it. My teacher asked students to volunteer to take up the seminar for class. Not even for a second, I waited and immediately I raised my hand. I thought I can give it a try. Even if I don’t take the seminar well, it’s okay, I can do it better the next time. With this thought I went to the dice, took a chalk and started my seminar. I won’t say I did my best when compared to other’s seminar but what I liked is I faced it boldly, I faced it without fear. This feeling made me to do even more speeches, seminar and presentation and now I can face the stage without any hesitation. But only thing I regret is that I could have tried this on my 4th grade itself so that by now I could be even better.

So, face your fears, face it boldly.
