Hope is not just about having a firm belief in your dreams but it's about seeing the light in the darkness in which most of us fails. Here I have shared a picture of the nest which has been built by a bird in our balcony ,I am going to share the experience of the bird as observed by me which also becomes a lesson for us in these tough times.
This bird built a nest by collecting bit by bit of the pieces to make it secure. Every day the bird started her work with complete dedication and worked hard to complete it. For that she had to fly a number of times away in search of proper materials required. When the house was ready she brought her family in it . Her struggle is not over yet but everyday is full of struggles. Now she goes in search of food to feed her children. The struggle doesn't ends here but her actual test begins here . She has to protect her nest from the other big birds as they used to attack on it. We have also seen the bird thriving in the storms.
Looking at the bird I have realised one thing that life is like a rollercoaster ride having its ups and downs. We shall never give up on life and must keep our hopes alive . The bird's nest was once even broken but she never gave up hope and built it again and now is living in it with her family. Difficulties are a part of life. No matter how tough the situation is, it is going to change. Be like that bird who never gave up hope even in testing times.
BY RUDYARD KIPLING(‘Brother Square-Toes’—Rewards and Fairies)
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
The poem fits with my words quite well and always encourages me to never give up no matter what the situation is. So we must learn to thrive and keep fighting with our problems like a warrior having a strong ray of hope in us . ☀️
