We have become busy in today's world that we have forgotten to have belief in the Almighty! (Let me be clear that am not trying to promote any religion but hoping that we believe in the Almighty based on your religion so that we may have hope,  have the conscience of right and wrong, the moral values back in place… let us also not fall for false beliefs! ).. …so this blog is just my small attempt hoping that at least few may have their faith back…

So let's go to our blog/poem….

Many events occupy our daily routine! 

Too much to try and do even during quarantine! 

No time for any beliefs that shaped us

To pray or visit a holy place we make a fuss

But any other reason we are quick and ready

Staying to keep our culture and rituals steady

We have reformed them and had them shortened

Into a life that vanishes in our hand

We have no time to spare for good or bad

Kindness is now a burden gifted to the poor and sad! 

Not out of empathy but mere attention

Our values have lost its motive and inspiration

Importance fading every minute among young

Nowadays we hardly find who control their tongue

People have become selfish and self centered

Others pain have shrunk to social media, people cornered

Nobody really benefitting but too much sympathy

And all your worst fears in papers as if you had telepathy! 

Even going together to pray was a memory

Never knew it would have been ever temporary

The smiles, talks and fun that it brought

The love that after each and everytime all fought

Everyone were worried about each other

Were mesmerized even by a small feather

Appreciating the nature and it's creatures alike

Our hands on even a dog would never strike

Elders although annoying all would respect

All helped with nothing in mind, never expect! 

So simple were people but now are we? 

When someone names their difficulty we flee!

A stumble in our path is enough to abandon our belief

Escaping reality is now are only relief! 

All are isolated and lost in this lonely world

Without even speaking a small word! 

Let us embrace all around big and small

Let nobody in our care alone fall! 

Let our faith unite all rather than divide

May the truth in faith all may find

So all respect other religions as humans! 

May all of us rekindle our faith in our own ways so that we love and care for others in this world of selfishness and hate.
