We all grow with a clear definition of love no matter what form of love it is…maybe brotherly sisterly love, love between parents, friends and so it goes….but just like how wine ages the taste changes and matters, with age the definition of love too keeps changing and differing almost at all points of life! We find at one point in life that nobody can really define love perfectly because our lives are always different and imperfect. Love ends up being just a word that tries to bind us together in today's world… a belief that we try to keep safe…

Through this I would like to bring your thoughts what really love has become in our hands as we grew up! Hope you enjoy🙂

Love is a word we hear even before our birth 

Something thats spoken even at our death! 

But how do we know someone really loved ?

Is it because to every wish of yours they bowed?

Or maybe was your support at all times?

Was it said simply cause it just rhymes?

Initially it was the care that love took form 

At childhood I guess that was the only norm! 

Where you took care of your siblings like parents did!

At adolescence changed what you believed as a kid!

Love took the form of a person who was better than rest!

And then life became a trial and error test!

Trying to fit the imperfections in you perfectly!

Then you accepted the fate and lived silently 

Love slowly turned into depressions and calmness!

Where silly things brought immense happiness 

Everything else was living with loneliness!

Still love changed with the surroundings 

As you believed and accepted new beginnings 

In the smile of others you slowly found love 

Joy even as you look at a homemade food on stove!

Definitions became simpler and lighter 

Everything was viewed to make things brighter 

Your love for self made you better and stronger 

Slowly giving and sharing to others, like a  finder 

The love that others couldn't find but needed 

Despite the blurring lines, the love you seeded 

Brings peace and maybe a laughter in someone!

So no matter what our definitions of love become due to our circumstances let's take a moment to smile and thank all for the love we treasure.
