"Nova don't tilt your head. Yes. Here its done. Check it all." Cheron said giving Nova's look the final touch.

Nova got up from the soft velvet plush chair and looked at her full reflection in the mirror.

"Oh I look good. Thanks to your hard work on my dress and accessories my darling friend." Nova said dramatically bowing before Cheron.

"I know there's hardly anything I can't do." Cheron said sitting on the bed and flicking her hairs.

"What's happening? A heavy female voice startled the girls and Cheron immediately stood up.

"My queen." Cheron greeted queen Lysithea, Nova's mother.

"Nova stop messing around and come down for the the greeting ceremony. Cheron make sure she is well ready for the tonight function as well. Do not mess it up like last time both of you." Queen Lysithea said being as serious as always.

"We don't mess anything mother. Last prince turned out to be alcoholic and jerk, we just exposed him." Nova said defending them both.

"You put spider in his shoes and lizard in his coat. He was terrified.  We lost a powerful friend." Lysithea said.

"Everything is not about power and fame mother." Nova said but  immediately regretted as she knew the big ideal queen lecture was on its way.

"You never listens to me Nova, you are not a kid anymore stop acting like an immature child. King and queen have entered the boundaries of Peri Peri land and about to arrive, you need to be on your best behaviour, Cheron make sure Nova is well ready for tonight function as well." Lysithea ended and left. 
Nova mentally thanked the guests to save her from the entire speech.

"Cheron what  do you think this one would be like, do you think he will survive us or crumple like others." Nova asked Cheron.

" I don't know Nova but don't think Queen Lysithea will take any mischief this time. She seemed pretty serious." Cheron said.

"Oh come on she is a coconut, looks and feels hard from outside but a real softie in the heart." Nova said shaking the warning off.

Nova and Cheron have been friend for almost 5 years now. The first time Cheron entered the royal palace with her mother she was given the job to be with princess as a toy but Nova was more interested in a friend than a human toy.
Cheron and Nova became best friends immediately and started hanging out all the time. Cheron spend most of the time with Nova, playing in the garden, sharing toys, reading books sitting in the same hall where Nova practiced her swordsmanship.
For Nova, Cheron was the synonym of friendship and vice versa.
