Pakistan opened their Super Four campaign at the Asia Cup 2022 with a five-wicket victory after battling through some tense moments to chase down India's 181/7 on the penultimate delivery. Arshdeep Singh, who needed seven runs in the last over, was hammered for a four off the first ball but rebounded by getting two dots and getting Asif Ali out to make it two out of two. Then the newcomer Iftikhar Ahmed eliminated the following player and won famously. At the next Indian game against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, at the same venue.

The Asia Cup tie is now 1-1 after Pakistan's third victory over India in 11 T20Is. And Mohammad R, who made 71 off of 51 total points, was the game's hero.
