In today's edition, we will figure out all the tourist locations as well as the various possibilities of enjoyment at the Pink City-Jaipur. 

Jaipur- formerly known as Jeypore, is the capital and the largest district of Rajasthan. As per the 2011, census it contributes to a 3.1 million population which makes the city 10th most populous city in the country. 

This city was founded by the king of Amer, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II on 18th November 1727. As he ruled from 1699 to 1743, he decided to move the capital from Amer. 

The capital itself is amongst the most beautiful place you will ever visit in the state. Popularly known as Pink city, Jaipur serves you the best hospitality in the nation. Including various historical monuments and cultural hubs. Jaipur is also famous for its wide variety of foods. Especially the Dal Bati supremacy. Jaipur is also famous for its textile, handicrafts, gems, and other goods. 

Jaipur contributes maximum to the state in terms of tourism, followed by Udaipur. Jaipur was ranked the 7th best place to visit in Asia in 2008.  

Visitors get attracted to the various tourist spots including the Albert Hal Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, City Palace, Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort. 

Let's talk about a few of them:

Amer Fort

11 Kilometre away from the capital Amer fort is spread over 4 square kilometers. Both the town of Amer as well as the Amber Fort were originally built by the Raja Man Singh and further additions were made by the Sawai Jai Singh. 

Hawal Mahal

Built from red and pink sandstone, the beautiful location is located at the edge of the capital. This monument was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. The structure is inspired by the Khetri Mahal. It was designed by Lal Chand Ustad. THe Five-floor exterior is akin to a honeycomb with its 953 small windows, traditionally called Jharokhas decorated with intricate latticework. 

Jaipur has supremacy while serving you its delicious and quality food. Moving to the Cuisine part. Typical dishes include Dal Batti CHurma, Missi Roti, Gatte ki Sabzi, Lahsun ki Chutney, Ker Sangri, Makke ki Ghat, Bajre ki Ghat and there is a wide variety of food available in the district.
