A Proper and right skincare routine is essential for healthy and glowing skin and body. But while most of us have a confusing which product to apply first and followed by that next on our skin to observe well and enjoy the benefits of each product properly.
First let's get to know why one should apply sunscreen, nevertheless of any seasons. Sunscreen is one of the most essential and necessary steps in the skincare routine.
So, what is multitasking SPF? The factor is that now โMost morning moisturizers come with SPF formulated with sunscreen".
Is it safe to use a moisturizer with SPF? Yes, whether you use moisturizer and sunscreen separately or together combined products is up to you. But both the ways works well. The fact to consider here is to choose the right sunscreen and moisturizer that suits your skin type.
The first and foremost step is to cleanse your face well to remove dirt and excess makeover from your face that unclogs your pores. It is advisable to cleanse twice a day(morning & before bed) with a gentle foaming wash. If your skin is too oily and sticky, then splash some water on your face in the evening as well.
Why Toning your face is essential? Toner helps you to close your open pores and protects from dirts that unclog pores. It also leaves your skin soft and supple. Once after cleansing your face, apply toner using dab cotton or just use a spray bottle to tone on your face.
This is an optional step. But I would recommend using a serum for glowing and spotless skin.
So, as our title says, which to go first? Moisturizer or SPF?
Here is the solution, Always apply moisturizer first and then continue with SPF. It's absolutely fine, even if you use moisturizer and SPF combined product. As said earlier, it is essential to choose the right product for your skin.
If you wanna go with multitasking, i.e. applying sunscreen & moisturizer separately, then here are few sunscreen lotions for different skin types that works excellent within budget.
So, Now should you apply moisturizer or sunscreen first? My Recommendation would be to apply a lightweight moisturizer and allow it to absorb completely before lining up with a layer of sunscreen.
