‘World’, A 5 letter word with so many unexplored thoughts, facts, culture, people. Haven't we thought of finding a perfect meaning to it? Do we find the exact definition to it? What is it that this small word holds? Will we ever find it?
Random thought on a random day at a random time came to my mind, What is the actual meaning the word - World, holds behind?
Full of opportunities, possibilities, perspectives, rules, ways, emotions the world is. The question always strikes my mind- How to explore the unexplored? How much is there to explore? Is there any full stop to it? Or is this never-ending?
I have always thought, How will it feel to know the perspective of a thing from a person living on the other end of the earth. Sharing thoughts with people holding a different mindset, and acknowledge a new perception. The same word is spoken in so many different languages, holds a unique pronunciation- makes us so eager to learn the unexplored. It feels great to be living in a world with so much difference yet so much similarity.
I often wonder, at this particular point in time, what the other part of the world doing?
Having a dream to explore some of it, I always think, Do I think enough of it or are there a lot of it I don't know about. Eager to meet some like me and some unlike me, I will always wonder- How will it feel to sit at a place and talking to the people and feeling amazed by the thoughts you never thought of.
What all is there to touch, to smell, to see, to feel in the world? Is it a physical thing or just a thought? Being mysterious and yet so perfect and beautiful, What is there that makes it so? When was it discovered and how long will it be there? Too many question marks and so few answers. A small word that holds everything possible to it.
If I conclude that the world means infinite, Am I right? Or the story goes long and long and long…
I am here, asking the question out loud- what is the world and how can we describe it?
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart. ”
-Helen Keller
