IPL 2022: The match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals saw extreme emotion and the last over of the game stood out as truly newsworthy for every one.

Match went till the last over as Delhi Capitals required 36 runs against the Rajasthan Royals.  Win for the Rajasthan Royals was not a cake walkRovman Powell hit three sixes off the initial three balls of the final over, but calm pacer Obed McCoy held his nerves and could able to finish the job without giving any boundaries as required 18 out of last three balls.

High tensed drama over an alleged no-ball in the final over turned into a bit a hot conversations between Rishabh Pant and Jos Butler, but finally they could able to continue the match and lasting victory to the Rajasthan Royals in the end. 

Prior, Jos Buttler had crushed his third ton with 116 runs out of 65 balls he faced and scored 9 boundaries and 9 sixes and his form continuous this season to assist RR with posting 222/2 of every 20 overs, which included good knock from the Devdutt Padikkal scoring 54 out of 35 and Sanju Samson as usual scored 46 out of 19 balls he faced.

Capitals at the other end started well with Prithvi Shaw scoring 37, David Warner scoring 28.  Sarfaraz disappointed without scoring much.  Lalit Yadav stick with a brilliant knock of 37 but it was Powell who made all the numbers changed.  He scored 36 runs out of 15 balls he faced but could not finish the line.

Rajasthan Royals have taken crucial wickets at the right time and made the run rate high.  All the bowlers bowled really well.  Prasidh Krishna has taken 3 crucial wickets, Ashwin with 2 wickets and Chahal with 1 wicket was good enough to take their Team home.

This ended up the Rajasthan Royals to top up the list with 5 wins out of 7 matches they have played.  Presently they have 10 points to their name and good run rate.  Surely they will be targeting playoff births as early as possible with almost half of the matches finished.
