Another piece of art written and directed by Zack Snyder, “Army of the Dead” has been released on Netflix in May 2021. The screenplay is  written by Shay Hatten and Joby Harold as well. I need not to introduce the peculiarity of Snyder's direction, after all, Justice League (Zack Snyder's cut) is the proof in itself.

Talking about the movie plot, it is a double thriller as there is a casino heist in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. I am a huge fan of Zombie Apocalypse Club  of movies. So, my wait for this movie was justified by the Snyder's amazing direction and great team of Army of the Dead.

Our old times favorite wrestle-mania star Dave Bautista is the lead of the movie who gathers a team for the casino heist, the best zombie killers and the talented vault specialist.

Indian actress Huma Qureshi is also making a debut in Hollywood with this. But the role seems to be a cameo to me.

You all must have watched many zombie based movies but this will be a different experience for you all because the plot presents zombies as a new evolved species with their own intelligence, communication and survival instincts. You will get to see the alpha male and female zombies who will leave you with new perspective towards zombies.

I am also talking about the team who doesn't get much credit but definitely works equally hard as all- The amazing make-up artist. The make-up of the alpha zombies required 2-3 hours of non- stop art. The another part of the movie which are overlooked but the most crucial ones are the Zombie Crowd.

Did you knew that there were auditions for the role of the crowd of the zombies?? Crazy right?? But this is the example of the building an excellent work of art which requires to precise at every step. Most of the zombie crowd are parkour players or free-runners which made it look more thrilling on the screen.

Ratings are average to above average at different places but in my opinion it is definitely worth a watch. I need not to pursue the zombie apocalypse fan at all, I know they would have finished it by now.
