It's already December, one of the years coldest month .Winter has its own charm but certainly it is a hard time for skin. The main problem in winters are our dry skin. There are various causes for dry skin, climatic change being one of the reasons. Our skin becomes dry when our natural moisturizing factor of skin is dearranged. In winters cold weather and low humidity results in dry air that takes away the moisture from the skin and this leads to dry, dull and wrinkly skin. The remedy that I'll share now will remove dirt and impurities of skin and will nourish it with essential nutrients.
Take one tablespoon of glycerin ;glycerine acts like a natural toner, humectant and is a perfect cleanser. Glycerine is also known for skin lightening,restoring your natural skin tone. It relieve dryness and refresh the skin's surface. It can also treat eczema and also maintains pH balance of skin.
Take one tablespoon of rose water; Rose water has been used in ayurvedic skin remedies for thousands of years. It is rich in antioxidants and thus softens the skin and increase the skin glow naturally. Being anti inflammatory it curbs acne from its very source by controlling excess oil.
One tablespoon of lemon juice; we all know lemon juice is synonymous with vitamin āCā.It is known to be anti ageing, it repairs the damaged skin cells as well help you get rid of fine lines, blemishes, wrinkles etc.
After taking them in equal ratio mix them properly. At night, after washing your face apply this mixture gently and evenly on our skin using a cotton ball. The mixture will remove the unseen dirt and impurities leaving behind your younger softer and clearer skin. Apply every night during winters and you can keep it stored in a bottle for a week .
This was a easy remedy for dry skin which is the problem of majority during winters,but few suffers with oily skin even in winters. Few suggestions for people with oily skin in winters are that they should not take hot water bath as it dehydrates the skin instead stick to showering with lukewarm water. Apply gel based moisture and deep cleanse your skin.
