The museum of future, which is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, in Dubai was inaugurated recently in February 2022. This seven storey hollow elliptical structure is seventy seven (77) metres tall and covers an overall area of thirty thousand five hundred forty eight metre square. This building which is endorsed as the “ world's most beautiful building” is designed by architect Shaun killa and Buno Happold engineering consultancy contributed in it's completion by providing their expertise in engineering.
The structure basically has three symbolic divisions ;
the circular structure:represents humanity.
the green mound on which the structure rests: represents the mother Earth.
The void: represents the unknown future.
The whole structure is shaped like an eye. It is seven storey futuristic building that gives visitors a peak into the world fifty years from now.Each floor has something special and themed attractions for their visitors and closely resembles a film set from a future and allows the visitors to explore and interact .
Inside the building there are seven floors with zero columns and zero corners. If one wants to enter the structure to explore what's lies inside the ticket price is $39.48 per person above three years. They provide the registered visitors a wrist band that would help the visitors to explore the building.
Let's start with discription of floors:
Floor five: On fifth floor they have designed an actual space station known as orbital space station (OSS) HOPE and is approved by NASA.
Floor four: on fourth floor there is a heal institution where visitors can experience the wonders of nature commonly known as : A digital Amazon and it's look like an actual rainforest. This floor also features a library of life or popularly known as “ Museum the vault of life”. One will also find a DNA library of over two thousand species.
Floor three: The third floor is named as “ AL WAHA” which translates to the oasis in English.This is a place for humans to revive their senses and disconnect from technology .
Floor two: This floor takes visitors on a so called journey to the “ year 2071” . Visitors can have a glimpse of technolgical advancements in near future .On this floor they exhibit things like flying drones ,self driving cars and robortic dogs.
Floor first: It is a dedicated space for children where children are encouraged to develop future-proof skills which will always be useful.
And there is also a cafe inside the museum with a Robot barista serving your drinks.
