Silence is the best answer you can give to someone when words can't make them understand. How this power of silence is gained? Isn't communication a key for maintaining a relationship with other people?
Let's just understand this topic in a most simple form. As a human, we do ourselves give value and respect to people who talk less. Without realizing we trust people who stay calm and peaceful in their hearts and mind. We believe that they have more wisdom and knowledge regarding the world. Why does this happen? Because we know that people who talk less are more into understanding our hearts rather than our mouths.
“WORDS BECOME MORE POWERFUL WHEN WE SPEAK ON PURPOSE WITH WISDOM”.
Without actually knowing this, we subconsciously live in this concept of power. “Expressing is easy but understanding is tough”. We find silent people to be good listeners and best advisors of life.
But this doesn't mean we should always be silent and only be a good listeners of other people's problems. We can't do this unless we become monks. It happens according to the situation and acceptance is the key to understanding one's problem.
This superpower is gained as we grow older and older. Just jump back to your childhood when you used to talk about everything that comes to your mind but slowly now you talk only when it is relevant. I'm not telling you that this power is all about age but it is about the number of experiences or situations that you faced in your life.
Every human being has their own perception and no one understands you better than you. As we grow older we get to know that no one actually understands us and sometimes we realize that it is waste of time to explain ourselves.
We see lots of naughty children turning silent after they hit puberty. Puberty is a phase of life where we go through lots of emotional, mental as well as physical changes. In between these drastic changes, most of the children choose to get silent and few become voilent. It's completely a huge topic to discuss, I will make sure to write on this in my future blogs.
"SILENCE IS THE SYMBOL OF FOCUS".
We do with ourselves experience that when we are silent we can focus on something and grasp it in our minds for a long period. We observe a lot better when we are silent. We study well when we have a silent atmosphere around us. I believe that library to be the temple of silence. Silence gives that space to our minds to take something inside.
So my dear champs cherish the silence around you and keep growing with more and more emotional stability and mental maturity :)
