Hello friends welcome back to another blog of mine todays blog is for all the fitness freeks especially for yoga lovers today I will try to explore this special Indian art which is 5000 years old as we all know yoga have a deep relation with our culture heritage as in found a place in Rig Veda which is one of our four Vedas . if we look our yoga it is divider into three periods innovation, practice and development. Yoga works is not only limited to fitness it also act as a medium of joining together it also leads to a stress free way of life if we talking about yoga so it is incomplete without the mention of classical yoga which is around 2000 years old . there are around 200 yoga sutras and out of these the Patanjali Yoga sutras credited for creating the foundation of classical yoga these sutras offers the readers peace and give him the fulfilment there are several authars of Patanjali who credited for the foundation of these . Another important factor of classical yoga is the eight limbs of yoga with gradual changes yoga also change drastically and it slowly moves to post classical period it was the period of 19th century when yoga was introduced in the west countries and the name that shine during this period was swami Shivanand who wrote more than 200 books these books proved to be a landmark in the history of yoga this leads him to be the most influencetional teacher of the yoga and this was he raferred as the “Father of the Modern Yoga” and it was the 20th century which led the foundation of Modern yoga which we practiced in gyms , homes it derived the posture from Heitha yoga the other modern form of yoga that is becoming popular in 21st century is power yoga it was started by Berly Bander Birch who wrote a number of power yoga in late 80s the only difference in yoga and power yoga is of speed power yoga is much quicker than yoga it helps the internal organs to heal practicing power yoga leads to muscle tone and improve our metabolism which keep us away from several diseases yoga is a only a style of healthy life but it make us a better person that’s all from in this blog see you again in next blog Bye Bye
