2 Bhut Jolokia Also known as Ghost Paper belief to be the hottest chili in the world if we believe the locals this chili is 170 times hotter than a normal chilly which registered its name as the hottest chili of the world in the Guinness World Record that make it impossible to eat for anybody this chilly is also used in other northeast states like Manipur and Nagaland
3 Masor Tenga The word means sour made with Ingredients like Tomatoes, Mangoes, and Raw Apple this dish is lightly spicy the dish is enjoyed in lunch or dinner and it also use as an appetite to improve digestion different type of Ingredients gives as different taste makes this dish refreshing
4 Pitika This dish is a basic combination of boiled fish or vegetables mixed with green chili, onion, mustard oil, and coriander leaves. A variety of other ingredients combined with mustard oil the dish is easy to prepare and served with rice
5 Paro Magxo As most of us knows Pigeon meat is banned in our country but it is a specialty of Assam specially prepared during the winter season as it helps to keep the body warm for this recipe the pigeon meat is cooked with banana flowers and paper cons and served with roti or rice according to taste
6 Duck Meat Curry It is yet another unique and popular food of the state as duck is considered as one form of meat in the state made on special occasions use a wide range of spices to add a flavor to it
7 Pani Hamuk It is a dish when it is sourced from clean and flowering rivers. The dish is cooked with pumpkin and potatoes that give an exotic taste, on the other hand, the same dish is prepared with pork and fermented beans in the state of Nagaland
