Born on September 2 in 1980 in Mumbai Mahashtra. He was born in a Hindu family where his father was a civil engineer and employed at RBI. He has two elder sister. He did his schooling for St. Xavier high School after that he did his Bachelors in Interior design. He was very athlethic. He was a very fine player of Football and Tennis. After completing his collage he also was as an Interior design for 2 years. In 2004 he appeared in music video with famous singer and actor Ila Arun . In 2005 he also participate in world ‘s Best Model in Turkey. He become first Indian and Asian winner beating more then 40 contestant from Asia ,America , Latin America after that he did a number of advertisement for brands like Digjam , Bajaj Avenger and many more Accept this he also appear in famous song ‘Shona Shona” sung by Tony Kakar and Neha Kakar which got more then 100 million views on You Tube  and become a super hit. Accept this he also he play character of Shivraj Shekher in Balika Vadhu for which he got a lot appreciation for his performance. In 2014 he also participated famous reality shows like Jhalak Dikhala Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi where he was eliminated in 11th week. In 2014 he made his Bollywood debut with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania with actors like Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt and he won an award for “Breakthrough Performance” in stardust  awards for his performance. In 2014 he hosted famous crime show Savdhan India and introduced stories of daily crime . In 2016 he also won famous stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi (Fear Fector) in same year he also worked as a co host with Bharti Singh in India Got Talent . In 2017 he appeared in show named Dil Se Dil Tak with Rashmi Desai. But the biggest turning point of his career came when he was declared winner of famous reality show Big Boss.
