Yes, it is hard to accept but we must agree that tones of food of food are wasted in our kitchen if we look at it as a figure it will be around 20 million foods wasted every day in our country. There are number of people dying of starvation especially countries like Kenya or Sudan. Well, this was the story of the world if we talk about our country wastage of food in Hindu culture. Wastage of food in considered to be the biggest sin made by human being it considered a sin that cannot forgiven by God. Accept religious food wastage have many other factors such as social, etc. According to a research at global level one third of total food is wasted in world which could feed around 50 crore people in our country due to this almost 10 million people losing their lives every day in the world. Anther big reason for the wastage of is climate a large amount of food is wasted in hotels and restaurant where costumers left food in their plates. Well, this is a problem at global level and the solution of this problem at global level such bon on wasting food France has become the first country to take this step. another reason that leads to food wastage is lack of awareness of proper diet and nutritional our youth who generally in the age group of 18 to 25 years. Food wastage is a that have also reached to developed countries like U, S where 25% of the children could not be able to access food. Wastage of food in a very big problem in our society but we can deal with this problem by taking small measures. Statistics says that one third of the food that we throw in dustbins is still consumable what can be worst. A large amount of packed food thrown in dustbins without even opened accept that wastage of also done at domestic level a simple example can be taken of food left in utensils in our homes. I mean it is the be a most basic way to prevent the wastage of one of the most precious gift of God I e food whenever we go to a religious place like Temple, Gurudwara we received an eatable item as Prasad I mean what can be a bigger example of understanding how precious the food is so respect this precious gift of God and never waste it.
