Hello friends, welcome back to a new blog of mine in this blog I am going to discuss the famous four Dhams Journey, Hare Chaar Dham is referred to four religious places in the state of Uttarakhand there are Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamnotri
Badrinath – This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu this temple is also one of the 108 Divya Darshans who worshipped as Badrinath accept Hindus people are from Jain religion also visit here to worship the idol. Because of extreme weather conditions of the Himalayas, It opens only six months every year (June to November) Mata Murti Ka Mela is commocrates at the decent of mother earth of River Ganga is a very prominent festival celebrated at Badrinath temple.
Kedarnath The next dham about which we going to discuss is Kedarnath it is located at the bank of Mandakini river and about 3600 meters above sea level and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is also one of the 12 Jyotirlinga of India. Kedarnath is one of the 200 shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. If we talk about the architecture of this temple it is built of extremely large, heavy, and cut slabs of India
Gangotri After Badrinath and Kedarnath is Gangotri it is located in the greater Himalayan range at the height of more than 3000 meters above Himalayan Range. As the name, Gangotri tells it to originate from the river Ganga. The original temple was built by Nepali General Amar Singh Thappa. The river is called Bhagirathi acquires the name of Ganga. The origin of Gaumukh is set in the Gangotri Glacier which is around 20 km away from the Gangotri. The only way to reach is tracking that usually takes 3 to 4 hours.
Yamnotri The last dham of this Yatra is Yamnotri dham .This Dham is a source of the Yamuna river it is 30 Kilometers north of Uttarkashi. It is the westernmost shine of the greater Himalayas. The chief attraction of this place is the temple of the goddess Yamuna. This temple was constructed by Pratap Shah. Like Ganga Yamuna is also elevated from the divine mother of Hindus is believed to be responsible for the care of Indian civilization. Close to the temple, there are hot water springs out from the Mountain Cavities, Devotees prepare rice and potatoes lied in a muslin cloth and drop in hot water springs.
