Needless to say, you guys would not believe me.
ps: Green gram / lentil / mong/ moong / mung/mung bean munggo - all are the same thing.
GREEN LENTIL VS CHICKEN:
In terms of fat and cholesterol, green gram outperforms chicken. 100g of chicken has 23.3 g of protein, whereas the green lentil contains 23.9g of protein.😀 At the same time, when it comes to trans fat, chicken includes 0.09g whereas mong contains none.🤨
Just a 1.5 cup serving of lentils has the same amount of protein as a 3-ounce chicken breast, but lentils also include dietary fiber, copper, phosphorous, and manganese that meat does not.😮😮😮
GREEN LENTIL VS EGG:
The green gram carries about 90% more protein than an egg, with only an egg offering 12.6g of protein per 100 grams and lentil holding 23.9g of protein.😲😲😲

IS IT VITAL TO SOAK MUNG?
No! Mung, unlike some other beans such as black beans or garbanzo beans, are tiny and quick to cook, therefore no soaking is necessary before cooking. 😶🌫️😶🌫️You should, of course, soak your mung if you want to choose.
So, guys. I have made it my mission to convey what I have learned thus far about mung beans. I hope you find something and put it into practice[ like adding mung at least once a week or two to your diet]. I will see you all next time with something intriguing.😜😜😜😝
Why, by the way, have I written this blog, explicitly about MUNG BEAN? It's because I am A PROUD VEGAN🥰🥰, and the mung bean serves as my major protein. I probably eat it practically every day[sometimes I dont, haha] and I encourage everyone to try it on and relish its opulence.🤑🤑😉😄
