Fact no:1 

Babies cry without  shedding tears- During birth, getting out from a warm and safe environment to a completely different environment baby cries.But do you know that newborn babies cry without shedding tears, this is because the tear ducts or lachrymal ducts don't undergo complete development. The ducts still develop till 2 months.

Fact no. 2

Baby boy and baby girl both are born with breasts - after delivery both the babies each boys and girls can seem to be like they have small breasts.Don't squeeze the little lumps(breasts) though. They shape due to the fact babies take in estrogen from mom, and they may normally go away inside a few weeks.

Fact no. 3

First poop of baby doesn't stink - First poop of the baby is called meconium.This sticky,thick, darkish poop is made up of cells, protein, fats, and intestinal secretions.now the reason why meconium isn't stinky is because it's sterile. Until the intestines are colonized with bacteria, there's nothing to make poop stinky.

Babies can scare themselves - Newborn babies can scare themselves, this is due to a special reflex called "Moro reflex".Hearing a sound from external source or a sound of the baby itself can scare the baby and as a result the  baby throws again his or her head, extends out his or her palms and legs, cries, then pulls the palms and legs again in.

Babies are born with more number of bones than adults-New conceived infants have around 305 bones. A child's skeleton is generally comprised of cartilage. As an individual grows up, the majority of this cartilages transforms into bone in a cycle called solidification of bones or ossification. By adulthood, the skeleton has 206 bones.

Babies don't have bony kneecaps- babies are brought into the world with bits of cartilage that will ultimately turn into the hard kneecap, or patella, that grown-ups have. Like bone, cartilage gives structure where it's required in the body, like the nose, ears, and joints. Be that as it may, cartilage is milder and more adaptable than bone.

Newborn boys and girls have different brain development stages-  newborn boys brains may grow faster than girls. In boys brains in the first three months undergo development particularly in areas that control movement.i.e, motor development.On the other hand, girls may have more sensory development , meaning that they can see and hear better than boys to begin with.

Fact no. 8

Higher heart rate- new born babies have a higher heart rate of around 130-150 bpm, where as 60-100 bpm is considered as normal in the case of adults. The higher heart rate in newborns is to boost their growth and to make them adjust to the new environment.after delivery newborn babies tend to lose more heat to the environment and to compensate this heat loss their little hearts beats fast.

Fact no. 9

Babies see everything in black and white in first few weeks after birth- Soon after birth, a child sees just clearly, with shades of dark(black,grey and white) . As the months go by, they will gradually begin to foster their variety vision at around 4 months.The first essential variety your child can see is red, and this happens half a month into life. Then ultimately child can see orange, yellow and green.

Touch- This is the very first sense to form in a baby, with development starting at around 8 weeks. The sense of touch initially begins with sensory receptor development in the face, mostly on the lips and nose.Some studies says that babies form sense of smell and touch Paralelly.
