Iam 22 years old student who lives in a rented apartment with 3 other friends of mine , before my friends got into my apartment I use to live alone and I don't know anything about cooking , I use to order food daily and never tried cooking because I thought it's a very dificult thing to do.
My boyfriend use to visit and cook occasionally , some days when I was broke I use to sleep without food because I had no idea how does cooking was and I never thought of giving it a shot .
Eventually my friends started living with me among them two people know cooking they use to cook Sundays the rest of the days our maid use to cook for us , Sunday was Holiday so we use to experiment with different kind of food and curries
I started trying out small dishes watching in you tube and a they turned out really good which boosted my will to cook , when covid situation started we stoped our maid to come and cook for us, and then lockdown happened.
In this lockdown I tried so many kind of dishes , I found passion in my cooking they use to taste so good , and them I started experimenting my self with cooking .
I started finding love in watching cook shows like mater chief , cook off , tasty , TLC and so on , I never thought I will like cooking this much I started creating new dish from left overs , creating something new from the stuff we found in kitchen, my parents and sibling were shocked when they first tried my food because they had no idea that I can even cook.
Desserts were the scary part of my life , I don't know why iam intolerant to sugar and j have very min knowledge about sweets and dessert , but I made up my mind and tried to give that a short .
Then I started with trying small things like custured , gulab jamun and ladoos , surprisingly they turned out pretty well and I got strength to creat something new and them little by little I started cooking dessert , my forever favourite would be doodh peda and gajar ka halwa the epic deserts my sugar tolerance was pretty low I use to get troble with balancing the sugar content in my desserts but now iam confident in my cooking and iam proud that I took a chance and tried something I was scared to do and that turned of this good .
