The Happiest Memory Of My Life

Hi dear fellow readers and writers! I am back with another story from my life and this is a happy one. Back in school I was a average student. I was okay with the average marks, until I reached class 11th. Class 11th changed my life or as I would say it showed me mirror. My friends had changed schools because the teachers in our school loved taking interests in their students' personal lives. They would try to break off friendships saying the other person is a negative impact(as if we didn't know our friends). They did this to me and my friends so as a result instead of breaking off friendships my friends moved to other schools in other towns and nobody ever listened to me in my family so I continued in the same school. In class 11th I opted science stream because my other best friend also chose it(never ever do it. I repeat never! Always look out for yourself first. Only choose subjects you want to study).

Class 11th was terrible. And I say this because the friend because of whom I had chosen science left me and became friends with other people. All of a sudden I got all alone. Adding on to it some random boys from my tuition had a bet as who would be able to make me their girlfriend first. I had never ever gotten a proposal, never had been a crush to a boy. So this was all new for me( I had no idea about the bet thing). Well one of them succeeded and later on I got to hear so many filthy things about me and it all diverted my mind from studies. I would question myself daily that what went wrong? The other boy from the bet took advantage of it and took me into his confidence, this time I trusted him and later he got into a relationship with my cousin. Everybody was dumping me and I was dumping my studies. As a result I failed class 11th.

I gave compartment exams but failed again. I saw no way out of all this humiliation and tried committing suicide. The worst year of my life. Then anyhow I managed to pass class 11th by giving another compartment exam. In class 12th I focused on studies. Every day I worked hard more but the same year I lost my grandmother. She was the only person in my life whom I loved more than anything. Life became unbearable but I studied. Finally boards came but during Physics practical I was unable to answer a question of the examiner of which my teacher made a very big issue and my father was called to the school. My teachers said things that no one should say. They even said that I will be the only person failing in boards. My father was devastated. He said that I shouldn't sit for my exams as eventually I will fail and that would be very humiliating for him. I was so angry on my teachers. But anyhow I worked hard and gave my exams. On the day of result I had scored 72% though not very much but still and had got 96 marks in English. Highest marks in the school. Later CBSE gave me certificate of merit and till today my name is written on the board of meritorious students. My photo was in the newspaper and I was awarded by my school too. Life takes unexpected turn when you work hard. This is my favorite memory of all times.
