My Experience With Planet Spark

Hello friends! This blog is about my personal experience with Planet Spark. Friends Planet Spark is an online education platform. Just like Byjus and Vedantu. On linked in one day I saw that planet spark was hiring that too for work from home. So I applied. The same day I got a call from HR. He told me it is a 6 day working job and I will have to teach for 4 to 5 hours and for each day they will pay me 1000rs. The timings would be 3- 8 P.M. I was skeptical that for one day they are promising 1000rs. Still I decided to go further with the selection process. After the telephonic interview I was been told that they would send me a link for a test that I will have to finish in 80 min. And depending on the marks I will be told if I am selected or not. I gave the test that was easy and scored 78%. I had qualified the test and was selected for the next round that was another interview but on a video call. So they had asked me to prepare a presentation on any chosen topic of my own. Next day 4 PM was decided for the interview. I had prepared the presentation. Everything was ready. Now I wouldn't shy away from telling that I don't know how to operate Google Meet. When I was teaching in a school during corona we were asked to install an app and on that app only our students were also added.

At 4PM I tried joining the link nothing happed from the other side. I got a call from the HR asking me to join the link. I sent a screenshot telling I did but maybe the other person has to let me in. This whole took around 10 min. I got very worried. I wanted this job desperately. I thought the problem is from my end so I took my brother's laptop and tried joining the same link from it. Luckily this time everything went smooth. I don't remember my interviewer's name but she was a female. The moment she joined the link she turned off her video and started shouting as my interview was scheduled for 4 PM and now it was 4:20. I apologized though I was on time. I introduced my self, told her about my education and qualification everything was okay, then she asked me to share the presentation. Now my presentation was in my laptop and I was on the video call from my brother's laptop. I told her very honestly that what had happened. But dare she listened. She started screaming that instructions were very clear why didn't I follow them. I told her what happened but oh my God!! that lady didn't shut up for once. Now I said I can show you the presentation from another laptop she agreed. I placed another laptop on my lap and started showing her my presentation. She wasn't okay with this. She said what kind of interview is this? How am I supposed to see your teaching? Now I don't know what she meant by that. I was there holding my laptop explaining what I have made. And the person not even ready to show her face is just not okay with anything. She asked me to talk to the HR right away. I picked up my phone and as I was calling him she again interrupted and started shouting asking me what the hell I am doing? I said you told me to talk to the HR so I am doing that. She said disconnect the call right now or jab ready ho tab aana. I was so pissed at that lady now that I disconnected the call without even a thankyou.

I was feeling very bad that where things went wrong. First of all why was that lady shouting? Am I a kid? Was I her employee? I was merely giving the interview and her behavior was so rude what if I am selected. Will I have to listen to this every day?Earning money is important but not on the verge of losing self respect. Your employer gives you salary that you had earned for yourself. Neither he is doing you a favour nor you are. Then why on earth somebody has to shout on some one else that too for their own fault. I spoke to HR told him what happened. He apologized but I didn't want to start on a negative note. What if one day my wifi stops working will they shout the same way? I told the HR that I understand every rule, every norm but a little bit of politeness never harms anyone.
