While you think of donut, it is always sweet and delicious. But have you ever tasted a spicy donut . I always loved to cook this because it is super easy to make.Chicken donut is a simple recipe which can be made easily by the available items in our home. My kids love this item because it is made of boneless chicken. The ingredients are just grinded together and mixed with smashed potatoes and then deep fryed. This recipe comes under fryed recipe and that is the high light that kids loves it. As the name indicates “chicken donuts” are in shape of donuts , this take in advantage of cooking all the parts well. It can be also named as spicy donut.Those who are very font of chicken recipe will surely love this item. The texture of chicken donut is lightly crispy on outside and soft inside. The donut shaped mixture is dipped in beated egg and bread crumbs,so that oil absorbtion is less. You can bake the same recipe in 180 degree celsius in oven mode or can air fry it in your air fryer.
If you are planning to make chicken donut for a party , ofcourse you will be the star. It is a best starter and goes well with any type of chutney and even with tomato ketchup. The chicken dough can be kept in refrigerator and can be fryed in next day also. You can also preserve the dough in freezer in an air tight container for about four to five days.
Before making this you need to boil two potatoes , drain and peel it. Next you need to clean about three hundred grams of boneless chicken and remove the excess water with a tissue paper.[If there is excess of water in the chicken the chicken mixture will be more watery and you will not get the desired shape] Then assemble all the ingredients .you will need spices like chilli powder ,pepper powder , turmeric pwder and garam masala[fennel seed, cardomom, cloves, cinnomon are finely powdered ].It is your choice to add more or less the spices as your taste.
Ingredients:
1.boneless chicken - 300 gm
2.onion- 1 small
3.garlic - 8 in numbers
4.ginger - a small piece
5.green chilli - 2
6.coriander leaves- a handfull
7.turmeric powder- ¼ tspn
8.pepper powder- ½ tspn
9. Chilli powder - ½ tspn
10. Garam masala -¼ tspn
11.bread crumbs - 250 gm
12.salt - as needed
13.boiled potato -2
For frying
Egg - 4
Bread crumbs -250gm
Oil- for deep fry
Method:
1-Grind the ingredients from one to twelve . (Grind like a paste)
2-In a bowl smash the boiled potato and add in the chicken mixture and mix well.
3-shape it in a donut shape.
4- dip this in beated egg and bread crumbs.
5- once the donuts are ready deep fry in oil .
