Learn From Our Children The Way Of Life

When a child is born it knows nothing of the world. A part from the God just reaches the earth. If you have ever heard about William Wordsworth then I would like to write as he perceived the world. Wordsworth was a poet mainly a nature poet. He loved being surrounded by nature. He felt as if there is a soul in nature that is with him everywhere. He isn't alone but with nature every where and wherever he goes. The same soul is in all of us too. And that soul is a part of the divine. We all are little drops of the ocean. The ocean is God. We all have our fixed time here and then we mix into our origin. He called this as pantheism. Meaning one soul that dwells in all of us.

Wordsworth said that when a child is born it knows nothing of the worldly matters. It doesn't know how to speak, how to walk, nothing at all. But when a child is alone in the room playing with itself, laughing at something it's because it sees the God. As the child grows gradually, we humans start teaching it our language, our gestures, our ways of walking, our lists of do's and don'ts. And in this way we drag the child from its world to our world making it lose its connection from its home. Because when we tell the child that something is wrong it asks for reasons which at times we find hard to explain. So we tell the child to follow the rules without any questions. Gradually when the child grows it starts using its brain, starts judging things, starts having opinions all the things that it had never learnt as a part of the divine.

And after years we produce a machine who constantly runs after materialistic things, and forgets that it has a home to return to. It was never meant to be the being that it has become. How surprising is that! But this all is true. We forget our origin, our purpose. We run after things that we won't be able to take with ourselves after death but still we run after them. We lose our relationships, our people, hold grudges and one day we will leave it all behind. We don't even know when will we die. Maybe after 50 years, maybe tomorrow, maybe right now. Lets learn from our children to laugh without a reason, love without a cause and enjoy the time for we are here.
