Start of agriculture

                   Over the centuries, agriculture contributes to the rise of cultivation. 

Before agriculture became widespread,people spent most of their life's searching for food. They hunted for wild animals and gathered wild plant . About 11000 years ago ,people began learning how to grow grains and roots, and they settle down to a life based on farming.

By 2000years ago Much of earth's population depend on the agriculture .when people grow crops they began Rising wild animals. They started to adapt wild plant and animals for people to use is called domestication.

The first domestication plant was probably rice or corn.chinese farmer cultivates rice as earlier as 7500bc

The first domestication animal was dogs. Which were used for hunting sheep and goats are probably domesticated next and then cattle and pigs.most of the animals was once been hunted for hides and meat. Now many of them also become the source of milk, cheese, butter.eventually people used domesticated animals oxen for plowing,pulling and transportation.

Agriculture enable people to produce extra food for trade or to use when crop failed. Food surpluses also meant that people didn't have to spend all their time growing foods .

Previously, human were nomadic, meaning they would move from place to place. With agriculture certain societies started building permenent village . These villages traded goods with each other and become more developed. Some areas are more successful that cities grew and entire civilization looks shape. The earlier agriculture civilization near the tigris and euphrates rivers in Mesopotamia. Now Iraq and Iran along Nile river in Egypt.

Methods of cultivation.

There are still many difference between farming techniques around the world low technology farming involves permenent crops such as fruit trees. In higher tecnology farming the crops are planted according to the seasons, types of soil and the amount of water needed.

Farmers in coastal west africa, usually girls plant corn soon after the first rain.between the rows of corn.american farmers plants others crops like legumes such as peas,or root veges such as yams. This practice of growing different crops together is called intercropping. Rain supplies water for the growing plants. Farmer uses hoes to get rid of weeds in their plot. At the harvest time, the farmer and the farmer families pick the corn,husk it and spread the ears in the sun to dry.they grind the corn and make porridge 

U.S. industrial farmers might plant a thousand acres of just corn. To harvest the crop . Farmers use the mechanical harvesters that picks the ears of corn. Most of the corn grow in U.S is used for cattle feed and industrial products such as sweeteners.
