The Darkest Hour Is Just Before The Dawn :  We get our first sight at Da-eun in the opening scene of Daily Dose of Sunshine. Even Brainflix TV's helpful host, who offers her some advice through online videos, can't seem to assist her with her insomnia. She is anxious because she will soon begin a new job.

Not in the Mood for Work : Daily Dose of Sunshine's second episode opens with a look at Da-eun's time spent practicing internal medicine. Da-eun receives significantly more attention from the nurses than the others, who tend to be more detached and just go about their work. She assists a lady who is experiencing arm pain and changes the tube to a smaller one to improve her comfort.

Safety Net : Daily Dose of Sunshine's third episode opens with Go-yun getting Yu-chan some water and offering him comfort. Dismissing it as dyspepsia, he proceeds to demonstrate the different pressure spots on his own foot. He finds it difficult to resist the strange doctor when he tries to do the same for Yu-chan. But Da-eun comes through to save the day.

In Search of a Ray of Hope : Da-eun starts off Daily Dose of Sunshine's fourth episode by honing her ping-pong technique. She is adamant about trying to defeat Kim Seo-wan, but her efforts are ineffective. She confesses to the other nurses that she no longer has any faith in herself and that all she wants is to win a few games. They advise her to take lessons from "the master." That would be Mr. Yoon.

When Life Tells You To Slow Down :  Daily Dose of Sunshine's fifth episode opens with a look at Ha-yun, a new patient. Given that she gets home with a wounded lip, it's obvious that she is being tormented at school. Immediately taking offense, her mother storms into the classroom, determined to support her daughter. Until she gets called away for a work presentation, that is.

A Day in the Life of a Mage : In the opening scene of Daily Dose of Sunshine episode six, we switch to Seo-wan, our very own Level 60 warrior. At the temple, he must replenish his mana in order to confront the dragon that is bearing down on him. With little HP and MP left, The Mediator appears and gives him an important MP pill to help him fight the dragons.

The Left Behind : Daily Dose of Sunshine's seventh episode opens with Go-yun telling Da-eun how he really feels. Da-eun gets a call before she can respond, but he wants to start dating her. This is the police, and they confirm that Seo-wan's condition is not good.  A man named Jun-gi, in the meantime, is taken to the hospital in critical condition after attempting to end his life by slitting his throat with a chopstick. He was seeing glimpses of things crawling around within his neck, as it turned out. Jun-gi put a chopstick to his throat in a desperate attempt to pry it out. Thankfully, his sister noticed him and alerted the paramedics.

Expiration Date of Grief : Daily Dose of Sunshine's eighth episode opens with Da-eun still unable to accept what has occurred to Seo-wan. Since she was his doctor and they were in the same ward at the time, she holds herself responsible for the suicide. As they sit outdoors talking about her dissociative disorder defense mechanism following Seo-wan's death, Dr. Im buys her some coffee.

When Ms. Song weighs in, she concludes that Da-eun has to follow a routine and give herself time to recover. Song offers her some time away from the hospital since he understands that she needs a few days. However, Da-eun would prefer to solve this and find another pastime instead of staying at home and brooding over her problems.
