Most important hour in a woman's life is the time that she spends inside a labor room. Those Hour will teach us Struggle, Pain, Patience and do brings out a mixed emotions in a most beautiful way. I am here to talk about those hours of a female's fear factor which many of them are curious to know how a delivery happens.
Most of the woman who are haunted by the fear of pregnancy, delivery pain and maternity period, trust me there need not be worried. It is the most exciting thing that nature has bestowed upon us. Like many other girls it took me years to make myself prepared for a pregnancy mentally and physically. When i heard that there is a life inside me growing and wanting to call me mom, I knew my life has taken a new turn. It is this time where in i concentrated too much on my food habits, always heard the music and mantras, My thoughts and actions all i did was good and happy. The result was miraculous.
Finally, as per the caption the day “Inside the delivery room” happen. I could see my mom standing next to me holding my hands with so much of tension in her face and me sitting on a closet, was unable to stop urinating, I had no clue what is happening and asked the nurse and she with a smiling face replied that my water bag broke (amniotic sac). Now the Doctor asked nurse to bring me to delivery room, As per the instruction she took me inside and made me lay on the bed in delivery position, i realized there were no belt tied to secure my legs when asked nurse laughed at me telling your not in a movie. Truth was very much more than a fiction inside that room.
Now that Doctor sat facing my legs which was wide opened ,talking to me explaining what and how the thing should be done. She told me she is going to “cut to widen open my vagina” that can ease my delivery. She told me i would feel pressure and get the feeling to want to pass motion and not to worry about it and The contraction would be painful which continues at interval of 2 or 3 minutes. All that i have to do is to push the baby myself only when pain comes and can rest when the pain goes, to gather more energy. Almost an hour passed, I started loosing my energy, I felt tired, told my mom “ sorry i can't do it any more”. Like Providing Incentive I heard the voice of Angels “ the Doctor and Nurses” asking me “to hold on” They told me each push have the hope of babies face, “I can do it”. My mom kept quenching my thirst with little spoons of water and that kept boosting me for each expel, for the baby to come out. That eager finally concluded when I saw the doctor pull the baby out and placed him on my stomach and then she went on to cut my umbilical chord. She congratulated me, my mom busted in tears. And now that Doctor was creating her art on my vagina with a needle and thread during this pricking pain all that i could see was the “New face” being passed for “Apgar score” and a shower. My eyesight was blurred due the excessive pressure that i took during delivery and was unable to see anything. Even then with that blur vision I saw my baby wrapped with white warm clothes, his lips was as red as hibiscus, for sure he is beautiful and cute. My husband with the richest smile on his face took the baby in his arms that turn to be the most beautiful movement in my life. The hours spent inside the delivery room, felt like a blink of my eye. First cry the best cry. My heart pounded like the music you hear from Trombone it had all serious and powerful tones.
