Through the title of his story, John Green conveys the message that despite the imperfection of our destiny, we can thrive and lead a happy and fulfilling life.
Story : The film adaptation of John Green's best-selling novel focuses on two teenagers with Cancer, Hazel and Gus, who fall in love despite knowing that there is no happy ending.
Review : Most love stories end with “And they lived happily ever since”. But what if you may not be able to live another day? Do you fall in love even if you know that you have limited time? "The Fault in our stars" remain true to the book. What you see, that's what you got, the sparks fly when the practical Hazel (Shailene Woodley) meets the fascinating and cheerful Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) in a cancer support group. He fears her oblivion while she believes it is inevitable. At his company, she discovered that there was a world beyond hospitals, medicine, pain, and cancer. Their common passion for books, common fears, and heartfelt conversations make them inseparable until death knocks ...
If you like a pleasing movie, this isn't for you. The fault in our stars is one of the most unpretentious and tragic love stories told in a heartwarming way. The story "Don't cry because it's over, laugh because it happened" is pretty well organized. Sincere acting adds depth to the characters and brings them to life. Shailene Woodley is brilliantly melancholy, and Ansel Elgort shows the complexity of his character very maturely. This movie isn't about crying out what you might lose, it's about learning to live with what you're doing. After all, it is not the fear of death that plagues people, but the lack of love.
“Some infinities are bigger than other infinities” my favorite quote from the movie (and book). and it's true because I'm going to love this movie for the rest of infinity. I am a major admirer of the book, and one aspect of the film that truly stands out is Shailene Woodley's outstanding portrayal. She steals every scene she's in, and I have to admit, I'm kind of smitten with Hazel. Despite the fact that it is a love tale about a girl with terminal cancer, the film is not tragic; rather, it is about living life to the fullest in your 'small infinity.' If you've previously read the book, you'll enjoy the movie.
The excellent acting, direction, and music lend depth to the plot. The Fault in Our Stars is without a doubt one of the most romantic films ever made. When you see this film, you will laugh and cry, and by the time the end credits roll, I am confident that the majority of you will be utterly enamored with this love tale.
These exceptional young actors maintain our attention on love and death. When Hazel told Augustus, “Some infinities are bigger than other infinities…..There are days, many days, when I despise the size of my unbound set, but my darling, I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity," our eyes welled up with tears.
In this fantastic film, love abounds!!!.
