Learn All About Stained Glass In A Class

For the past few years, I have set a goal of trying at least three new things each year, year after year. So when January rolls, I sit down, think about what skills and hobbies I want to acquire next year, and then plan to learn the exact things. Last year  I finally wanted to learn how to make my own stained glass.

Stained glass has always fascinated me, but I think it's one of the most beautiful types of art out there. I love to see the stained glass  hanging from the window and being used as a candle holder. So I was very excited when I remembered my long lost desire to learn stained glass and I began the search for the best possible way to learn stained glass making.

There are many ways to learn any new skill or hobby that is of interest to you. In fact, I was a bit overwhelmed in choosing how I would undergo the task of learning about stained glass. The first move I made was to do a little research of my options. I went to the library and found quite a few helpful resources on doing stained glass at your own home on your own time. But that wasn't the best plan for me. I  start with big intentions and then know that the hustle and bustle of life overwhelms my best intentions in the project.

I am enrolled in a weekly class at a local university that teaches me how to make stained glass. I knew myself, so I followed this path. I tend to work better when I have the external responsibilities that my class and other classmates provide to me. So I started taking this course and was very grateful for my choice. I was grateful that I learned more  about stained glass  in a short time than I expected. It's been only a few weeks since I started working on my own stained glass  that I can cherish at home.

So I have my encouragement for anyone who wants to learn about stained glass. It's a good idea to find a class to enroll  at your local university or  art store. Working with other artists will inspire you and hold you accountable for weeks when you  really don't have time to work on your work. If you enjoy my half stained glass class, you will love it.
