The best time to visit Jaipur is around Diwali. I was given 5 days' holidays for Diwali as all my roommates were going back home but my home was really far away so I decided to go to my roommate's place to spend my Diwali. We went to Jaipur by train from Chandigarh, the food was really delicious on the train. We got down in Gandhinagar by 5:30 early morning the next day.

Note: If you are a student do take your college or student ID with you. you will get fabulous Discounts on the tickets to places.

Day1:

We started our day with Kadi Kachori with desi ghee Kesar jalebi's

The first place we started off was with City Palace. It's said that the royal family stays there. It has Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum which has clothes, weapons, and types of equipment used by the ancient royal family, which were really beautiful. I was in awe looking at the clothing techniques they had back then.

Next up was Hawa Mahal. It is located along the roadside. It has a great architectural structure and also has ancient colored mirrors. It was built with red and pink sandstone. The view from its peak was beautiful.

Following we visited the Albert hall museum. It is said that the hall was constructed for one sole purpose, to ensure Prince Albert of England would visit Jaipur during his tour of the country. It was built as a concert hall back then but then converted to a museum.

Later outside the museum, there were many pigeons you can play with them. After resting for a while we walked to Johari Bazar which was nearby and did some shopping.

Day 2:

The next day we visited the forts which were famous in Jaipur. First comes the Amer fort. It is built on top of Aravali Hill, it has maze-like passages and serpentine staircases which is considered to be a masterpiece. It is built with pink and yellow sandstone. I have a Shilla Devi temple at the entrance and there is Kesar garden. It is said that when the wind blows the smell of Kesar used to travel to different corners of the fort. You can find Ancient Jaipur art inside.

Next comes up is Jaygarh fort. It was built to protect Amer Fort. There is a secret passage from Amer fort to Jaygarh fort. It has a museum and also the weapon that was used back then. It has a big tank at the top which is used as a display now. The view from above is really mesmerizing.

Next up is Nahargarh Fort, where the king and his queens used to stay. Every queen has a separate room and they don't have any connections from their room to another. There were secret passages for the king to go to the queen he desires to meet that day so that the other queens wouldn't know about it. As usual, the view was beautiful we can see the whole Jaipur city from there.

While going back we visited the Jal Mahal. There is no entry for Jal mahal we watched it from far away.

Day 3:

We started with the World trade park. the people who love to shop will love this place.

Next, we went to the Birla temple. I didn't find it much amusing because I have already seen it in Hyderabad There was a bit of structure change.

We went to the Jawahar circle garden. It is known to be the biggest circular park in Asia which is developed on a highway traffic circle. We ate pav bhaji and returned back.

We were two people but had lots of fun. The place was really beautiful it took my heart away, the people are great, the food is remarkable, the vibe is great, in total the whole journey was incredible.

I wish you a great visit to Jaipur and hope that it may help you guys.
