The group of friends had always been fascinated by the stories of witch hunters. They would spend hours talking about it, making up their own stories of what they would do if they ever met a real witch.

 One day, they decided to take their fascination one step further. They did some research and found out about a local witch who was said to be causing mischief in the area.

 They made a plan to go and confront her, and set off on their adventure. 

The closer they got to the witch's house, the more nervous they became. But they didn't back down, and when they arrived at the house they were ready to take her on.

 They knocked on the door and a voice from inside said, "Who's there?" 

"We're here to hunt witches!" they shouted. 

The door opened and they were surprised to see a very old woman standing there. She didn't look like any witch they had ever seen in their stories. 

The woman invited them in and offered them some refreshments. They asked her about the witch they were looking for, and she told them that she was no longer in the area. 

The group was relieved, but also disappointed that they hadn't got to do any real witch hunting. 

The old woman told them that if they were still interested in witch hunting, she knew of a place where they could find some real witches. 

She gave them directions and sent them on their way. 

The group followed her directions and eventually arrived at a dark forest. They could hear strange noises coming from deep within the woods, and they knew they had found the right place.

 They entered the forest, and it wasn't long before they came across a group of witches. The witches were busy preparing a potion, and they didn't notice the group of friends approaching.

 The friends jumped out and confronted the witches. They demanded to know what the witches were up to, and why they were creating such a dangerous potion.

 The witches claimed they were just trying to help people, and that the potion would only be used for good.

 The group didn't believe them, and they were about to call for backup when one of the witches attacked them. 

A fight ensued, and eventually the group of friends were able to subdue the witches. They tied them up and took them back to the village where they handed them over to the authorities. 

The group of friends had successfully completed their first witch hunt, and they were now heroes in the eyes of the villagers. 

Their adventure had just begun, and they knew there would be many more witches to hunt in the future.
