A Horrific, Dark Haunted Night Story

It was a dark, moonless night. Enough light shone from the porch light to show the broken coat hanger that stuck out of the porch stair rail. Lily sighed and wrapped her shawl around her other arm, picking her way from the driveway to the porch.

Just as she touched the railing, she heard a howl from the woods behind the house. Lily's heart leapt into her throat and she froze, her hand clutching the railing. The howl came again, closer this time. Lily swallowed hard and forced herself to continue up the stairs.

She had just reached the top when she heard something crashing through the bushes towards the house. Lily's breath caught in her throat and she flattened herself against the door, her heart pounding in her chest.

The crashing came closer and closer until it reached the porch. Lily could see a massive, furry shape looming up in the darkness and she stifled a scream. The werewolf stepped onto the porch and Lily could see its red eyes glaring at her.

It stepped closer and sniffed the air, then it let out a low growl. Lily's heart was pounding so hard she was sure the werewolf could hear it. It stepped closer and Lily could see the saliva dripping from its mouth.

It lunged at her and Lily screamed as she felt its teeth sink into her flesh. She felt herself being dragged towards the door and then everything went black.

Lily woke up the next morning, lying on the floor of the porch. She was covered in blood and there was a gnawed bone lying next to her. Lily staggered to her feet, her heart pounding in her chest.

She looked around, half expecting to see the werewolf again, but there was no sign of it. Lily staggered into the house and locked the door behind her. She leaned against the door, her heart still pounding, and tried to calm herself down.

It had been a horrific experience, but Lily knew she was lucky to be alive. She would never forget that horrific night.

These tales provide proof that even the most evil specter eventually moves on from this world to the next. If you ever come across a ghost, don’t panic. Remember that even the most sinister spook eventually moves on. These stories show that even the most evil spirits can be sent to the other side.
