> Story - 1:

It was a cursed land, a colony of the damned. The people who lived there were haunted by a dark shadow, a shadow that would come in the night and knock on their doors. If anyone dared to answer the door, they would be killed. 

The colony was a place of terror, and everyone was afraid to close their eyes at night. They would huddle together in fear, listening to the sound of the shadow knocking on their doors. And then, one by one, they would close their eyes and drift off to sleep, never to wake up again. 

The shadow was a thing of nightmare, a monster that fed on the fear of the people who lived in the colony. It would stalk them in the night, and no one was safe. No one dared to go outside, and no one dared to answer the door when the shadow knocked. 

The shadow was the terror of the colony, and the people who lived there were doomed to a life of fear and paranoia. They were prisoners in their own homes, and they knew that, one day, the shadow would come for them.

> Story - 2:

There was once a colony that was terrorized by a dark shadow. It would knock on people's doors at night, and if anyone respond, they would die. The colony was cursed and haunted, and no one dared to leave their doors open at night. 

One night, the shadow knocked on the door of a young woman named Sarah. She was tempted to ignore it, but her curiosity got the better of her. She opened the door, and the shadow killed her. 

The next night, the shadow knocked on the door of a young man named John. He, too, was tempted to ignore it, but he, too, succumbed to curiosity. He opened the door, and the shadow also killed him.This went on for months, the shadow killing anyone who dared to answer its knock. The colony was in despair, and they knew not what to do. 

Then, one night, the shadow knocked on the door of a wise old woman. She did not open the door, but she called out to the shadow. 

"Why do you kill us?" she asked. "What do you want?" 

The shadow replied, "I am looking for my lost love. I thought she might be among you. The old man replied "she never live in this colony". The shadow replied, "I thought she might be among you but I have been mistaken. I am sorry for the pain I have caused you, and I will leave you now." 

And with that, the shadow was gone. The colony was free from the terror that had haunted them for so long.
