Ever met someone on social media and fallen in love?
The story goes like this…we met through a common friend on social media, started doing video calls, he is far far away from my city. He promised to come after the lockdown ends. Now the lockdown has ended. He says that there is still a high risk of contracting virus and so many restrictions from the company where he works. 🧑🏻✈️
I am eagerly waiting for him to come…and here goes a poem written by me to explain the feelings deeply buried in the core of my heart:
Days passed, Months passed
We're still thousands of miles apart
I want you to be here, but want you to be safe
My days are long and the nights longer
I wish I stay stronger, it's hard not to ponder
Not an easy art to capture my heart
It's just the start and you are my life's part
Souls entwined and minds aligned,
True love is blind and hard to find
The bond so pure and feeling so secure
One day we'll meet and that's for sure!

🤷♀️I am waiting for him but I do not know when will he come, neither I am sure about whether he will come or not. But what the heart says and what the mind anticipates are two different ends of the spectrum. Maybe he is fooling me or maybe I am overthinking. I do not know whether he values my feelings and desires or he is just being good on face. The Almighty knows the future. 😇
I have decided not to wait endlessly for him. I will give him a chance till the end of this year. Then there will be a fresh start with the new year.
#When you really matter to someone, that person will surely make time for you. No excuses, no lies and no broken promises.
This blog has to end here but the story further will continue in another blogs in future if he came or not, what happened when he came. Does he value me or did he just play with my heart and the purest feelings.
