Hello readers. hope all are keeping fine. Today I am going to share my wonderful university experience with you.

Almost all the people have different ambitions. The ambition makes man live with hope and allays his laziness. I also had ambition that I want to go university.

After completing my Als I had been waiting for my university selection. After few weeks I found out that I have been selected to South Eastern University of Sri Lanka.  I was so surprised and happy. University commission suddenly announced about a meeting. I participated the meeting via zoom.  they explained about university and its faculties and staffs. They deeply explained about our course of study that we have selected.

After few days they started to teach their syllabus via online. That was so sad to us because everyone wants to enjoy university life and meeting new people, environment. But we don’t have that opportunity because of online education. Our team asked to head department “why are u not intaking us physically?” There are too many students studying here so we don’t have enough hostel facilities to provide you.” They replied us.

We realized that we had no ways. So, we started our university lecturer via zoom for 3months. Passed the time slowly I got the information that we intake physically in next week .I was so happy . I told it to my mother. She told me to pack the things. On 17th February we started our travelling to south eastern university. Usually, I don’t like travelling but enjoyed my journey. 

After 8 hours traveling, we reached the university. The university had a wide area. There were 2 ways to enter the university. We went on first way. The senior students were waiting to welcome us at in front of the main entrance. They gave us flower bosques and a plate of milk rice.  That was so delicious. I was having my meal and enjoying the nature of the university.  Many students had come from several districts. At the first time I met my university friends there I introduced them to my mother. After few minutes we went to our hostels. We cleaned up our room unity.

Next morning, we were ready to go our faculties. There we should respect our seniors command.so we all wore shalwar with shawl and wore bata. Hair style was like a school hairstyle and we should wear “Thiru Neeru” on forehead. It was so funny to see. We should go with boys anywhere if not, we will be punished. Starting days, it was hard to us but after few days we changed to that routine. Due to this rule, we were very close to our friends and an understanding was reached. Now I continue my studies via online but a lot of memories are in my heart. I entered university after facing many challenges but after achieving it gave me fulfillment to life.

In my own experience I want to tell you one thing.  enjoy every second, a little thing makes you  happy when you received it  full hearted.
