Food is very essential to perform the daily actions in our daily life, this food gives us energy by the process of digestion.
The digestion of food starts from our mouth and teeth present in the mouth break the particles of food into smaller pieces those pieces get mixed in The saliva and the salivary amylase present in The saliva break down the starch present in the food and then the emulsified food goes into the stomach through food pipe.
In stomach the HCL in the stomach make the food acidic so that the gastric enzymes present in the gastric juice could easily act on it. Gastric juice includes HCL pepsin and mucus HCL make the food acidic pepsin digestive protein and mucus sev the stomach from the action of acid. This digested food then goes to small Intestine and on the way of going bile juice act on it to make the food alkaline so that the pancreatic enzymes could easily on it for further digestion. In pancreatic enzyme the food is converted to fatty acid after the action lipase. the rest of the protein present in the digested food is digested by the trypsin and then it goes to the small intestine is small intestine villi give the large surface area to absorb the digested food this food then goes to each and every cell and then gives us energy to perform our daily activities. The undigested food goes to large intestine. The food mixes into blood and goes to each and every part of our body.
Now you may have a question that how does urine come in our body so let me clear this the urine is the process of filtration of blood. Urine is manufactured in kidney that is the structural unit of kidney nephron helps in the the proper filtration of blood which is very essential for the production of urine this urine then goes to urinary bladder and letter comes out.
Now you may have a question that what is the function of heart then so is very essential part in our body hard helps in the transfer of oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood to various parts of our body the oxygenated blood comes from the lungs that is in lungs the blood is properly oxygenated because you already know that lungs give a large surface area for the exchange of gas the functional unit of lungs helps us to perform this action. So the oxygenated blood goes too hard and the deoxygenated blood goes to lungs this process goes on and this is known as double circulation that is the process of the transfer of blood from heart to lungs can be shortly termed as double circulation.
so this was the short summary of the first chapter of class 10 that is the life process. Hope this will help you to give some ideas of this chapter ……
