I observed that in the past few year, Indian elder individuals who normally live in the joint family are now preferred to reside alone. There are lots of the consequences where oldster take this step as sometimes, they failed to get respect and could not get appropriate care. Moreover, their loved ones also want to live independent life. However, I feel that they are little annoying, bossy and childish.
A group of older society wants to live in joint family, it is tradition in India. Still, I found number of them live separate and fulfill their demand by their own due to improper recognition and attention. Elderly came across ups and downs and several of the experiences in their life journey. They consider them as a superior which is correct but, poking every action of the youngster is not the way they get respect. Of course, teenagers need some suggestion, support and warning the related their next move in life, but interruption in any small step is not right. As I completed my 12th with good grades and I asked for sports bike, he was ready. Surprisingly, table turned and he gifted a scooter (Activa) because my grandfather had been convinced my father to buy it as it would be useful for whole family and in my family, he was the only one who could take advantage of this amenity. Though, as per me they are annoying.
Elder people always poke their kids due to future purpose. So, they apply the theory of ‘restrict and rule’ in early age of the child where kids are not allowed to take some small decisions and should follow the orders. Absolutely, they are worried of their future although they killing their creative and productive behavior. They forced to get admission in such a field where adolescents are not interested in, restrict something which is not ethical as per them (community), they are typically connected with tradition and interfering in personal lives. They always think about 4 people and make fear of them in their kids. As young people expressing respect towards them which is from their childhood, they turn their bossy mode on and start thinking they would get control on them which is basically known as a servant. However, I believe this type of thinking are from earlier society. Everyone facing the bossy person in their professional life. This attitude of arrogance is everywhere as people achieve appreciation. So that, youngsters can not want to live in slavery all the time and stopped listening to old people which makes them feeling of ignorance.
As older people grow up, they seek for more attention due to lack of work efficiency and ignorance. In this stage of life, they required higher care but right now, youngsters are more involved in their life of earning and should do something for their wife and children so, they can not able to take care of oldster. However, they lived their life, also love to die with honor and they commence to live alone. Now, they become stubborn like a child as they should not listen to any one else and refuse to live alone, at last they never convince in any situation which gives them attention.
Likewise, older people started to live alone where they would be in peace and far from the ignorance. Older masses are sometimes annoying, bossy and childish however, they would be helpful to get proper guidance, skill and values.
