There was a butterfly with beautiful wings. She was called Titi. Though she was pretty, she was very proud.

   “Nobody is a beautiful as me. That is why I get the crown of the beauty Queen of the rose garden every year. This year too I will get it.” Very confident Titi was walking away arrogantly.

    Suddenly, a black-winged butterfly banged into her. Titi shouted at her for not noticing her.

“Yes sister, my eyes are weak. I am Beauty Butterfly. I have come from the nearby tulip garden in search of work. I have no one of my own. Please forgive me,” she pleaded.

        “Ha…..ha….., black in appearance and calling yourself beauty,” Titi laughed and took her harpins from hair and pinned Beauty by her wings to a tree's small branch.

      Beauty kept shouting but Titi went away singing to herself. Later, Fenu Wasp helped her free her wings. He took her to his house.

“You are new here, sister. You don't have food to eat. Why don't you take part in Beauty contest of Rose garden? May be you win. Then you will get lot of money. With that you can open a flower shop,” Fenu advised.

   Beauty said, “I am so ugly. How will I win a Beauty contest?”

   Fenu encouraged her to atleast take part in contest.

   In spite of Beauty not very keen, Fenu took her to the parlor and made beautiful tattoos on her wings.

    The next day all the butterflies gathered in the hall of the garden for the contest. Titi too came hopping.

  Unfortunately, her wings touched fevicol box kept on the window. Her wings stuck to each other badly.

    She shouted for help but no one came. The contest had started. Butterflies went on stage one by one.

  When beauty reached the hall, she saw Titi crying.

  “Why are you crying, sister?” Titi told everything.

    Beauty went and took an oinment in her hands. She quickly put medicine on Titi's wings. Titi's wings opened and had same shine. Suddenly, Titi's name was announced.

  Titi was again looking stunning. Titi had again won the crown this year.

  When Titi was called on the stage she had tears in her eyes. 

   She in turn called Beauty on the stage and told the judges everything and handed over all her prize money and award to Beauty.

  Titi said, “Dear Beauty, you are very pretty. But for you I would ha e not been alive leave alone the prize. Therefore you are the real Beauty Queen.”

  All welcomed to announcement and said that day Titi gave up her pride and was the most beautiful butterfly.
