Hi friends,
In the last two blogs, I have shared the things that I hated in Singapore, in this one I will share some things which I felt good about. In Singapore, all the buses will have a slider at the centre for the disabled, those with a wheelchair, when the driver notices if any disabled or wheelchair-bound is going to board a bus, he will just open the extension slider for them to get into the bus. For a wheelchair, separate space is allocated.
Each nook and corner of the country is very clean, you cannot see anyone littering wherever they want, since they will impose heavy fines.
You can buy any country products over there. Yes, all the products are been imported from all over the globe. Each and everything is been imported in Singapore, they are no agriculture.
Singapore gold is a pure one If you compare the gold with them, the gold sold by them is very beautiful. With my savings, I bought gold while returning. But, there is a limit to taking gold with you while returning, with proper proof. Many golds smuggling agents will ask you to carry some gold for a commission saying nothing will happen but don't agree with them.
After four months passed in Singapore, I got pregnant and I was not aware of that for a month. After a month, one day I felt dizzy suddenly and I started vomiting. I informed him of the reason for vomit. At first, he didn't believe it would be and then after testing it was confirmed. He was happy and me also.
During the second month of pregnancy, my craving for mom cooked food, pani poori, fresh fruit juices, corns, mom made rasam, chapati everything started to roll before my eyes. Mood swings were severe. I started to yell at my husband sometimes, some other times I will start cry like a baby, I want to go home. After saying my mom, she sent snacks, pickles, dresses etc.
I used to carry polythene cover, imli chocolate, lemon to avoid vomiting on the way to work. One day while I was working, I started vomiting in cover, one customer who came from shopping was staring at me like I was vomiting because of drinking. Since girls drinking is common in Singapore. I spent a total of 7 months, in that 4 months I was pregnant after my hubby doesn't want me to suffer anymore, so I came back to India, once I got down in the airport and the smell and the breeze of air was the one which I missed the most. Yep, I felt like I was inhaling artificial air.
One cup of Mozambi juice on the way home made me forget all those bad memories over there.
This is all that I want to share about my Singapore experience. Kindly share your thoughts regarding my blog. Keep supporting. Take care everyone.
