My Experience In Beautiful Singapore

Hi friends,

In this blog, I am gonna share about personal experiences. After getting married my husband went to Singapore leaving me in a month since he had no leaves left. I went to send him off and we both were crying like anything, it's hard to be separate for a newly married, right? After six months we were apart, he was hardly managing without me and he applied for a visa which is “Dependent pass” in Singapore. I can live there until the time my hubby is there.

My Visa got approved and I was really happy and very excited to see him. I didn't care about anything, the only thought I had was to see him. It was my first time flying, everyone got scared to send me alone, you know what parents generally do right?  if we travel by bus itself they used to say be careful, don't forget to call when you reach, don't eat anything from strangers, like that many things. It took only four hours to reach Chennai.

My mom was packing everything for me like I won't get anything over there, haha. I reached Singapore, he came to receive me by doing all his works in a restaurant. Yes, he is a chef. Good cook. His owner is an Indian but also he had Singapore PR(permanent residents). Even if he is an Indian, not a good one. My husband was waiting for his Visa period to be over so that he can work under a better employer.

Many people who work in Singapore face these issues.

The cost of living in Singapore is so high, the rent of our room is Rs.35,000.Other than room, kitchen and washroom we had to share. The owner of the house is also Indian, from Tamilnadu. They had one elder daughter and two sons, the last one is a kid of 2 years old. He was very happy to see us since he thought now he can play with us.

Those who work as a contractor on work permits, it's hard to watch them roaming in uniforms given to them, they will travel in small trucks. Work on the roads, it's very hard to imagine even now.

I have noticed many things in Singapore like which is difficult to make our Indians follow here.

One, chewing gum is not allowed.

Second, no noise above 10 PM.

Third, you should have your Id with you always. They will check you randomly.

The law that I like You cannot spit, smoke or litter wherever you want.

You can't beat the children, children have the right to complain. Many rules are there.

It's a small country, we can visit all the places within two days. Even in the tall buildings and apartments, you cannot see many people out, they will just be indoors, playing cards, drinking with family. Singapore is mainly for people who enjoy drinking, casinos, pubs, bars.

After being in Singapore for seven months, my love for our country has raised to the top. Yes, I started to think, no place is as beautiful as our India. If I want to visit any place it will be India. No country will be equal to our country in freedom, nature, food, hospitality, etc.

Still, more is there to share, I will share that in the next blog. Thank you for following and reading my blogs.
