My Experience In Nammooru Bengaluru Part 2

Hi Everyone,

In the last blog, I told you that I met my childhood friend in the elevator. Her name is Shalini, we both studied from Lkg to Tenth together. After that, we got into separate schools and colleges. We were not in contact since there were no mobile phones at those times. Only letter, landlines contact. By seeing her, I was in some confusion because it was after 7 years, she was changed and it was difficult to recognise for both.

We were very happy since it was after such a long time. After seeing her I called my mom and informed her “I am not coming home, Amma. My friend is here, let me stay here for few more days”. My mom was happy since I have my friend accompany me. Also, my mom gave me a quick warning, “ be careful, don't go out if boys call you out for a coffee”.

I and Shalini started talking about all our school friends, school love stories, etc. After that, I informed her about my job search. Then she referred me to a company where she is working currently. I had an interview there and got selected. We both were excited to work together. And that continued for two months, after that she resigned. I didn't, I continued and I got new friends who are from various states. Two of them are my besties, one is Anupriya Sahu from Orissa, another one is Shabana Azmi from Andhra Pradesh.

From them, I was able to learn many things, firstly languages, culture, experience, knowledge. It broadened my horizon and helped me to get away from a particular mindset. For continuous three years, I worked there with new friends, new places. I stopped thinking about everything that worried me like language, new place, homesickness etc.

Started to accept the reality, new friends and I started learning new things. I was really happy about not getting selected for on-campus interviews because I don't think I would have got such a good experience, friends, knowledge, languages.

So, this is my beautiful experience in Bangalore. My advice for everyone is just don't get upset with failures, move on, something bigger, interesting, beautiful circumstances will be waiting for you. Always move on, explore, experience something new, learn something new and fresh.

I wish to have many beautiful stories and experiences that I like to share with everyone while getting old.

"Experience is the only beautiful thing that will be with you always.

Thank you. Don't forget to like a blog, keep following.

Take care everyone.
