Good day, everyone. This blog is about traditional games.

Five Stones

In Tamil Nadu villages, five stones are called as Kuzhangal, Kallangal, or Anchangal. Two or more players use five little stones to compete in the game. There are eight steps in it. The winner is the player who finishes all of the sets first.
Playing this game will improve your memory and vision. It improves concentration as well.
It is a fantastic substitute for playing video games and a wonderful way to spend time with family and friends.

Pallanguzhi

In the past, women in Tamil Nadu used to enjoy playing the board game pallanguzhi.
This game, which has intrigued scholars for its anthropological and social implications, is played with tamarind seeds or shells.
The game increases players' maths and motor skills. The game is well-known for its sophisticated strategies and elaborate design, which make it a challenging and enjoyable past time for players of all ages. Although the game may have started out as a way to teach math skills.
Pallanguzhi is a monument to the continuing ability of games to connect us to our past and bring us together in the present thanks to its rich history and enduring appeal.

Nondi

A popular jumping game in Tamil Nadu's rural communities is called nondi. The player must hop across a grid that has been drawn on the ground to finish his lap without touching the edge.
Balance and muscle tone are enhanced by the game. The goal of the game is to leap and skip your way into as many slots in the matrix as you can.

Tyre Vandi

The oldest game played by kids in the 1980s and 1990s is called Tyre Vandi. An old bicycle or cycle tyre and a stick are used to play this game. To get to the grocery shop, we typically take this vehicle.

Pattam

An annual game is pattam. Because these months have sufficient wind speed to detach our kite, it will be played between March and June. The kite that flies the highest will be crowned the winner.
By focusing on the shapes that move against the blue sky while flying a kite, you may strengthen your eye muscles. In addition to stretching your spine and reducing some of the negative consequences of looking down or at a desk, looking up also improves flexibility by stretching your neck and shoulder muscles.

Nungu Vandi

Nungu Vandi frequently participates in community teams. Two sugar palms of the same size and a long stick are used to make it. As a front differential, a bottle is employed. These games are still being played by kids today.
The game has been passed down through generations and is more than just a good time. It is a cultural tradition.

Pacha Kuthirai

A two-player or multiplayer game is Pacha Kuthirai. The player should stoop so that other players can jump. The winner is the person who jumps the highest.
increases the child's athletic ability. strengthens and increases flexibility. increases teamwork as well.

Kola Kolaya Mundhirika

Most of the time, Tamil Nadu is where Kola Kolaya Mundhirika is played. It is a multi-player game that is played during events. This game will be won by the player with the most focus and stamina.
It enhances athletics and strength.
