Yo bloggers and writers! What's up and happening? It has been quite a very long time since I have written a blog. Some things have been happening in my life so I could not jot down any of my thoughts, but those for another blog.
So in this blog, I wanted to share my thoughts and love for my favorite movie, Crazy Rich Asians!!
So this is one of those movies where the whole of the cast are Asian- based. The movie was said to be game changer for Asians in Hollywood.
The movie was released in 2018 and it is an American romantic comedy- drama movie which was directed by Jon M.
It was the fist of the films by a major Hollywood studio which had featured a majority cast of the Chinese decent families.
The movie was based on the novel 'Crazy Rich Asians, which was written by Kevin Kwan in 2013. The film release was announced in 2013 after the rights of the book were purchased from the novelist. The filming of the movie began from April to around June of 2017 in different parts of Singapore and New York city.
The cast in this movie are Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Gemma Chan, Lisa Lu, Awkwafina, Ken Jeong and Michelle Yeoh.
Awkwafina is one of my favorite actresses in this movie. A friendship like theirs in so intriguing to watch. Her funny dialogues and awesome hairstyle is just everything. Peik Lin is the name of her character. Her joyous character just lightens my mood every time when I watch the movie.
Gemma Chan is an icon character especially for gorgeous accessories and effortless looks. All of her outfits are just so breathtaking. I just can't never stop watching her, the way she walks and talks.
Henry Golding is the main Hero of the movie. A handsome and sexy man! He is a newcomer to the Hollywood, before which he has been a presenter on BBC's ‘The Travel Show’. Since this movie, he has become one of my favorite actors.
This movie for me is that I can watch it anytime of the day and night and I can never get tired watching it over and over again!
