Adam, in the year of 2050 steals the time jet to travel to the 2018 along with a air fight. cause of the fight, he landed on 2022, instead of 2018. Using his help of younger self, how he go to 2018, and for what. And in the way, he teach his younger self his mistakes and the younger self reminds the good memories he forget along the way is the story plot of The Adam Project.
The plot is always very engaging. In some point, it gives us a break, in that break the sentiment, intimate scenes are put very well. I don't recommend to watch with parents or any other family members.
Ryan Reynolds, his humor is as good as any other of his movies. It is also the disadvantage to the plot. He remains as Ryan instead of Adam sometimes. His reaction while leaving Zoe, was good. But Zoe nailed it than Ryan. Because, Ryan always makes serious scenes as comedies. Because of his stereotyped character we can't fall for the serious reaction of his.
Zoe, even she has the smallest part, she gain attention by her Bold acting and her intimate kissing scene. Her anxiety for love and maturity really make us to feel for her.
Walker Scobell, the Younger self of Adam nailed his performance and made us feel Ryan is inside of him. His comment on everything and roasting Ryan was very enjoyable.
The time travel scenes may been seen very old and make us remember other movies. But the sentiment scenes are very good and it worked well. father sentiment and love scenes.
Turning RED(U):
A Chinese girl, who lives in Canada, who waving around with 3 girls as best friends. To be obedient to their parents, she pull herself from being what she want to be. In that routine life, she accidently turn into a red panda. How is she deal with it? How she tell her mom about her feelings? is the rest of the story.
There is also a Easter egg for this film in the previous Disney Pixar movie called "LUCA". The boy band called 4 star town band logo in turning red is also seen in the Luca movie.
I saw in a review that the panda reference is the puberty of women. Then it is very well handled. The movie is best to watch with parents.
parents should know how to be with children. They have to let it go in some age to discover their own life style. Children depression under their parents control and struggle to explain them. cause, they feel hatred. And the parents feels like let them go will feels like they are far from them. That emotions are clearly good. I feel bad my parents won't see these kind of animated films.
